IT-Governance

IT-Governance comprises:

1.  The clear definition of the position of IT within an organization
2.  The development of IT strategies
3.  The determination of IT functions and responsibilities
4.  The establishment of a reporting system and its corresponding control mechanisms

Therefore, in order to contribute to the overall strategic performance of an organization it is essential to systematically align IT systems with corporate aims and business processes.

The implementation of IT Governance is supported and guided by internationally recognized, high-performance procedures, so-called frameworks like Cobit. These provide tools to assess, measure and describe the performance of IT processes in view of set objectives and the necessary actions required to achieve these. They also define indicators to track and monitor progress of improvement measures taken.
The Cobit certification of our consultants enables MaibornWolff et al to install components as per requirement. This permits us to guarantee our customers an adequate implementation of IT- Governance.
